Full SDLC Experience

In most aspects of change or software development, there is usually a change or software development lifecycle (SDLC) that is followed.

A SDLC or change lifecycle is a process that produces software or change with the aim of high quality or value, lowest cost or overheads and a swift timeline. A SDLC usually details how to develop, amend, maintain, and replace a an inadequate system or process that currently exists.

Most SDLC's involve a number of different stages, such as planning, designing, build, testing, and finally deploying a change. Examples of different SDLC models include the waterfall model, the spiral model, and the Agile model.

A SDLC or change lifecycle typically starts by analysis of an existing software or process for inefficiencies and bugs and then documents a plan for what the desired process or software should look like. Following this, a gap analysis exercise is usually undertaken to identify requirements for the new development or change and that is when a SDLC's different stages are enacted.
